Greek/Roman Demigod Powers

Scion of Zeus/Jupiter:
1. Thunder Bolt – Instant hit which cannot be dodged, deals one hit never more.
2. Enhanced Speed - Can make one automatic dodge in combat per 2 posts.
3. Enhanced Strength - Each hit counts has a high chance of breaking bones, even of demi-gods. Roll a d20, on a 15-20 it breaks the target area unless dodged. Can bend and break Iron.
4. Enhanced Toughness - Roll a d20, on a 10-20, the hit does not affect you or wound you. Effects that would normally happen still happen.
5. Thunder Storm – As thunder bolt but with 1d20 hits. This causes you to faint.
6. Lightning Rod – Allows you to channel Thunder Storm without fainting
7. King of the Demigods – Zeus bestows upon you one gift at random, after a massive sacrifice worth its level x3000 gold. It can be used multiple times.

Scion of Hades/Pluto:
1. ATM of Erebus – Start with 2,000 gold and a custom legendary gift from your father.
2. Greed of the Flesh – You can absorb 10 gold to heal a wound instantly, this can be used as many times as you have money for in a thread.
3. Undead Servant – Your father sends you a gift of an undead servant with any soul you can pick from the underworld’s coffers except the fields of Elysium.
4. Hidden Vault – Hades/Pluto shows you to your “college fund” he has been keeping, which is a vault stored away which only you can access in Erebus with your level + 3000 gold, which appears every year. If you advance in level then the sum total of your gold will still be there. For example, since you were level 1 you started out with 4000, then when you went to level 2 you earned another 5000 and when you went to level three you got another 6000, and finally when you hit level four and discovered the vault you had 7000 bringing the total of the gold you find to 22,000 gold when you first open up your vault. This vault replenishes each year
5. Undead Army – You can call up your level times 10 of undead warriors, if you take an unhealable wound then you can call your level times 15, and if you feint then you can call your level times 20.
6. Legendary Wealth – You gain a legendary item like the Golden Fleece or the Bow of Heracles.
7. Undead Commander – You can call all your army sizes without penalties OR Micro-Mezzo-Macroflation OVER HEATED ECONOMY – Your father gives you access to all his gold and riches having proven yourself worthy in his eyes.

Scion of Poseidon/Neptune:
1. Water Control – You can manipulate any amount of water as long as you are touching some part of it. Though you cannot form shapes with it or hold people under with it.
2. Brine Blood – You heal all damage and cannot tire while in water, this water must be naturally occurring and flowing but you can use water control to make it flow over you.
3. Blood Bending – You can manipulate the water in someone’s body crudely. This can be used to make any hit automatically miss once per thread.
4. Tide Control – You can form water into complex forms like a prison or a sword or a house.
5. Tsunami – You can control any amount of water limited to a quarter of a body of water.
6. Blood Control – You can use Blood Bending once per every three posts.
7. Lord of Horses – You can summon the beasts of the sea to your aid, including the dreaded Land Shark and his cousin the Pool Shark. No one ever sees the Pool Shark coming.

Scion of Aphrodite/Venus:
1. Lovely – You are exceedingly beautiful and attractive, others who don’t recognize it will be banned for not roleplaying.
2. Love Potion – You can make a rare potion and use it to make someone fall helplessly in lust with you for one post. Roll a d20, on a 1-5 it fails miserably and they are immune to your charms for the rest of the thread. On a 6-14 it fails, on a 15-20 they are completely under your control for one post. Warning: Use of this power may get your character beat up repeatedly. That means you Jonathan.
3. Charm – You can persuade people from violence. Roll a d20, on a 1-10 they must take a one post break to listen to what you have to say, otherwise it fails and cannot be used again this thread.
4. Body guards – Your mother sends you two mortal servants with weapons of decent quality to guard you from harm, they do need to be paid…one way or another or they will leave.
5. Sorcery – Your mother has taught you the ancient arcane ways, and you can replicate any level 5 or below gift.
6. Monster or Man? – You can transform one person into their inner self for a thread. Roll a d20, on a 1-10 the person changes into a form that represents their inner darkness, and otherwise they turn into a shining hero representative of the best their character is ever being. They may still act as they wish however.
7. Gorgeous – You can stop one person from attacking you for an entire thread, and can stun a hoarde of people long enough to get away in style. This allows you to completely cancel combat.

Scion of Apollo:
1. Natural Performer – Start play with 1000 gold from your ability to entertain people with your talents.
2. Aim True – If you aim before you strike with your bow or sling, then you automatically hit.
3. Knock ‘Em Dead Kid – Start a thread performing, and stay performing the entire thread in order to earn 1,000 gold in support.
4. Enchanted Arrows – Your arrows carry the effects of gifts which can be enchanted onto them by others.
5. True Aim – Never miss a target. Always hit.
6. Charm – You can persuade people from violence. Roll a d20, on a 1-10 they must take a one post break to listen to what you have to say, otherwise it fails and cannot be used again this thread.
7. Gorgon’s Blood – You can choose to kill anyone you hit, though this ability is able to be circumvented sometimes…

Scion of Ares/Mars:
1. Enhanced Strength - Each hit counts has a high chance of breaking bones, even of demi-gods. Roll a d20, on a 15-20 it breaks the target area unless dodged. Can bend and break Iron.
2. Enhanced Toughness - Roll a d20, on a 10-20, the hit does not affect you or wound you. Effects that would normally happen still happen.
3. Enhanced Speed - Can make one automatic dodge in combat per 2 posts.
4. Wrath is the best Medicine – When in combat you can regenerate from any wound, no matter how many small pieces you are in.
5. War Cry – Motivate your troops with a stirring roar giving each combatant friendly to you an automatic hit.
6. Perfect Body – You can dodge once a post, and dodge even inescapable hits, you can always shatter bones unless you roll a 1 on your d20.
7. Perfect Aim – You always hit unless you roll a 1 on your d20, other’s dodges automatically fail against your wrath.

Scion of Artemis/Diana:
1. Swift Runner – You can outrun anyone without even trying. If two people possess this talent then your contest is role played out, one can win or the other, if in combat then both move at the same relative speed.
2. Enhanced Speed - Can make one automatic dodge in combat per 2 posts.
3. Perfect Body – You can dodge once a post, and dodge even inescapable hits, you can always shatter bones unless you roll a 1 on your d20.
4. Aim True – If you aim before you strike with your bow or sling, then you automatically hit.
5. Pack Hunting – When hunting of any sort, even humans, with another scion of Artemis or a scion of Apollo, one of you will automatically hit.
6. Volley – You can make two attacks in one post with the same movement and dodge options.
7. Strength of the Virgin – Eternal youth, instant regeneration, and unerring accuracy.


Scion of Athena/Minerva:
1. Battle Analysis – Roll a d20, on a 1-5 you get wrong data and cause everyone in your squad to miss. On a 6-10 – you get no information. On an 11-15 you gain possible weaknesses. On a 16-20 you discern a critical weakness which gives everyone friendly to you a single guaranteed hit on a foe. This can only be used on a singular target.
2. Aegis – You can shield your friend from an attack, interposing yourself in front of the attack, taking the wound for them.
3. Phalanx formation – you can combine your aegis with other scion’s of Athena and Ares to form a phalanx formation. In this phalanx formation, each member may ignore the first hit from an opponent as it glances off their own shield, if another member of the phalanx uses the Aegis ability, you may ignore another hit per combat. This effect makes a chain of unbreakable shields once there are five members in it if they each possess the Aegis and the phalanx formation talents. This ability does not block magic or any effect brought about by a legendary weapon.
4. Armor of the Gods – You automatically shrug off one hit in combat, you decide when as your patron goddess shields you from harm.
5. Weapons of the Gods – Your weapons were forged by Hephaestus himself and as such gain the ability to automatically hit once per two posts. Your weapon is guided by its own bloodlust and as a result negates Enhanced Speed.
6. Wings of Athena Nike – Following your Goddess’ penchant for victory, you are able to give yourself angelic wings once a thread. These can be severed by weapons, and these can be targeted by automatic hits. They also however allow you to fly.
7. Medusa’s Head – Your shield has the dreaded face of Medusa inscribed on it, causing all but the extremely foolish to flee before you. Roll a d20, on a 20 your opponent is frozen in stone forever. NPC enemies on quests will flee automatically from you.


Scion of Dionysius/Bacchus:
1. Drunkard – As the son of the wine god, you can produce wine from nowhere, it is the best wine from Olympus.
2. Angry Drunk – you gain the benefits of Enhanced Strength while drunk.
3. Witty Drunk – You gain money from acting crazy while drunk, gain 5 gp per post where you act the fool.
4. Frenzy – you can whip yourself up into a frenzy while drunk gaining the Enhanced Toughness gift.
5. Madness – Madness effects up to three demigods excluding yourself. Roll a d20, on a 1-5 everyone starts acting slightly buzzed, on a 6-14 everyone acts drunk, on a 15-20 everyone whips into a frenzy gaining Enhanced Toughness, if they already possess Enhanced Toughness they gain complete immunity to damage. These effects last one post.
6. Pandemonium – Roll a d20, on a 15-20 you whip up to five demigods into a Madness effect of your choice. The effect lasts three posts.
7. Lord of the Dance – You may manifest any single gift at a time while drunk. This can be used once a post.

Scion of Hephaestus/Vulcan:
1. Magic Forge – You can summon a special forge where-ever you are. This forge allows you after a detailed and suitably long post to enchant an item with a one-time use of a gift. You must have someone who has the gift willingly help you. One item can be made per day. Each forging taken at least the number of hours per level of the gift.
2. Arma Virumque Cano – Gain the enhanced strength gift, and the enhanced toughness gift
3. Heroic Forge – Your special forge is enhanced to also allow you to enchant armor with different gifts, they can be used once per thread. This has the same requirements as Magic Forge.
4. Earthshaker – Your fury shakes the earth causing a d20 magnitude earthquake. Role play accordingly. This is not a “may” effect, it always happens when you get angry.
5. Godly Forge – Hephaestus sends you his first forge, allowing you to enchant armor, weapons and items with once per thread gifts. Same restrictions apply.
6. Hammer of the Gods – Hephaestus lends you his hammer, a legendary item which has smote titan, giant, and god alike. People cannot dodge this hammer, people cannot shield from this hammer (unless using Athena’s last ability). It’s you or them in an all out fight to the death.
7. Titan’s Forge – Hephaestus allows you use of his mighty forge. You can enchant anything with any ability and you do not have to have a willing subject to use. It still takes a long well crafted post.

Scion of Hera/Juno:
1. Jealous Rage – Gain the enhanced strength gift, the enhanced toughness gift, and the enhanced speed gift when you are angry.
2. I Think You’re Cheating – Gain the ability to see through every lie told by a demi-god. (Exceptions are Loki and Set)
3. Crazy Possessive – Use one of your lover’s gifts as if it were your own. This may be done three times per thread.
4. MINE – Take one of your lover’s gifts to replace this one. This can be used as if you would normally get it, he does not lose this gift.
5. Love Never Sleeps – If you’re lover cheats on you, you will automatically know.
6. Slap the Whore – Instantly hit a person your partner has slept with.
7. Vengeance is Mine – Gain a magic doll from Juno, which makes all people you’re partner has slept with suffer the pain you cause the doll including death if you destroy the doll. You will not get a second doll after you destroy the first doll.

Scion of Hermes/Mercury:
1. Endless Pockets – You can carry anything around in your pockets. You can also produce almost anything from them that would be useful in the situation except weapons.
2. Fleet of Foot – gain the enhanced speed gift.
3. Perfect Body – You can dodge once a post, and dodge even inescapable hits, you can always shatter bones unless you roll a 1 on your d20.
4. Instant Step – you can shop at the market as if you were there during a quest.
5. Flight or Flight – Gain the ability to fly and attack while flying.
6. Air Mail – Deliver supplies to other people’s quests or other places in the world.
7. Messenger of the Gods – Gain the protection and the favor of the gods by delivering their will to mortals in effect becoming a minor god.

Scion of Fortuna:
1. Fortune’s Fool – Always reroll your attacks and gifts if they hit, taking the worse of the two rolls.
2. The Fool Who Follows Him – Make your allies reroll their attacks and their gifts, taking the worse result.
3. Fortune’s Spite – Roll a d20 for every combat you enter, on a 1-10 you lose ½ your gold, on an 11-20 you keep your current gold.
4. Fortune’s Favor – Counter acts Fortune’s Fool, and instead reroll all your powers and attacks taking the best result.
5. Fortune’s Bliss – Counter acts The Fool Who Follows Him, and instead your allies may reroll their gifts or attacks and take the better result.
6. Coin Toss – pick one, you can either always hit or always dodge.
7. Finders Keepers – You can copy any gift you see used in a thread. This can be used once a post.
